Once collected from your home, the green material is sent to one of Agromin's processing facilities. A crew carefully goes through the material to remove any "non-green" items. This is a time-consuming cleaning process but must be completed before the actual transformation from green waste to mulch begins.
Note: Green materials makes up over 40 percent of all waste produced in California.
