Soil products produced by the recycling process are distributed to consumers, farmers and landscapers. Consumers buy Agromin products in bags a local retail stores, in bulk and online.

Agromin has partnered with several agricultural companies, including Limoneira Company in Ventura County and Newhall Land in Los Angeles County, to produce mulch for agricultural use. Farmers have found that they need less water and use less pesticides and herbicides when incorporating the mulch in their fields. Trees are healthier, crop production is up and the quality of the fruit is noticeably better.

Landscapers have been using Agromin soil amendments for years. Agromin soil can be found in school and museum landscaping and commercial and residential projects.

Note: About 40 million tons of green waste is generated annually in California. About 10 million tons of green waste a year is currently being kept out of the waste stream through recycling efforts. That leaves another 30 million that is still not being diverted and which ends up in landfills.
